Website Privacy Policy
At Miss Mollies, we believe it is important for us to stay in contact with new owners of our dogs, in case we need to provide support at any stage. We also encourage new and prospective owners to keep in touch with us. Any information provided to Miss Mollies, either in the form of the interactive contact forms on the site, or through the pre-adoption questionnaire, will never be shared by us with any third party without the owner's prior consent.
Your information will only be used by us to help us improve our service and website, and to enable us to stay in contact with dogs that we have rehomed in case of emergency.
All our website financial transactions are conducted through our payment services provider, Paypal. You can review the Paypal privacy policy at Paypal. We will share information with Paypal only to the extent necessary for the purpose of processing payments and donations you make through our website.
Terms and Conditions
Fostering
All dogs from Miss Mollies can be fostered either long- or short-term, to be agreed in advance.
Home checks are mandatory in all cases.
Under our foster agreement, all costs will be borne by us, although any assistance towards the cost of food/treats or even vet care is always gratefully received.
Foster dogs can be returned at any time, although we do request reasonable notice in order to find a suitable home.
Adoption
All dogs adopted from Miss Mollies are subject to a £150 adoption fee. This will become due once all parties are sure the dog suits the family and location.
The adopter becomes responsible for the on-going care and all costs related to the care of the dog, including food and vet bills.
Miss Mollies will provide help and support when needed.
Home checks are mandatory, and vet checks are also required before the adoption process is completed. There is also a trial period in order to ensure that the home and the dog are a good match.
All dogs fostered or adopted from Miss Mollies remain the property of Miss Mollies, and may not be sold, given away or euthanised without prior consent. In the event that the dog no longer becomes suitable for an adopter due to change in circumstances, etc., we will make every effort to rehome the dog as soon as possible, although we do ask for reasonable notice in order to arrange a new home.
Euthanasia without prior contact is permitted only in extreme emergency situations, when the alternative would expose the dog to unnecessary suffering.
All dogs must be kept up to date with vaccinations, and must be neutered and microchipped if not already done before adoption. In most cases, neutering and chipping will be done by Miss Mollies before rehoming.
